About Me

I am a medical professional dedicated to ensuring 24×7 accessible healthcare for underserved rural communities, including geographically isolated island region near Sri Lanka. My work focuses on bridging the gap between urban medical infrastructure and remote populations by mobilising expert healthcare professionals to region where access to medical care is limited.

Beyond healthcare, I am equally committed to inclusive education. I established the Intensive Educational Care Unit (IE CARE) framework to support slow learners in mastering foundational concepts through structured, focused academic intervention. Through our institution, we ensure that students from fishing and farming communities receive education on par with urban standards, creating equal opportunities for long-term growth.

In 2018, I founded the Dr. Ilayaraja Education and Health Services Trust with the belief that education and healthcare are fundamental rights. The trust supports underserved communities by improving access to quality education and healthcare services. Inspired by the vision ofA.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s PURA (Providing Urban Amenities in Rural Areas) model, our initiatives focus on strengthening rural infrastructure, services, and community development.

My work remains guided by three core principles: Accessibility, Equity and Sustainable Community Development.

Mission

To collaborate with government and non-government organisations to build self-sustaining rural communities where people can thrive. Our focus is on expanding access to quality education and comprehensive healthcare services in rural areas, ensuring long-term social and economic upliftment.
